Principal's Corner

Welcome to North Early Learning Center.

It is my honor and pleasure to serve the students, families, and community of the North Early Learning Center (NELC). We have several programs including Head Start for eligible 3 and 4 year olds, Pre-Kindergarten, and a Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD). At NELC our staff works diligently to ensure the success of every student. We set high expectations for student learning and provide a safe nurturing environment for all. We will continue to put students and their families first in everything we do.

We believe parents are their child's first teacher and play an integral role in their formal education. It is important that we work together as a team. We encourage you to offer praise, show interest, and actively participate in school events to let your child know that their education is important. In addition, we have many opportunities for you to volunteer and support our school. Opportunities include Parent Committee, Policy Council, Health Services Advisory Committee, homeroom helper, field trip chaperone and multicultural events.

I appreciate your support and look forward to a successful year together. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. Again, it is my privilege to serve you as we provide our students with a strong foundation that will serve them well throughout their schooling and life endeavors.
